We encrypt and stream our music over the internet at 128 kbps from our dedicated servers located in 3 data centers across the country. Our proprietary technology is built into every Mixhits Radio Internet Receiver. We utilize a restricted operating system and encryption keys to keep your network safe. Simply plug the iSTREAM Mini Media Player into the Netgear switch and connect it to your amp, and you’re ready to enjoy Mixhits Radio.

Frequently Asked Questions

All music played on Mixhits Radio is licensed by ASCAP, BMI, Global Music Rights, and SoundExchange. All royalties are paid by Mixhits Radio for the music we provide. If you use another source, such as a CD, smartphone, or TV sound, you will need to obtain your own licenses.

To assure you get excellent sound quality in your business we stream our music at 128 kbps. This small amount of bandwidth will have no significant impact on your internet service.

Most Mixhits Music customers self-install their player. Simply plug it into your internet router and plug in the provided audio cable to an AUX input on your amplifier to start enjoying the great selection of music. No tools are needed to install and all cables are included with your iStream.

At Mixhits Radio we screen each song for inappropriate words and language. We play the same edit that you hear on your favorite radio stations. We also go above and beyond and remove additional verses from songs if we feel the radio edit doesn’t do enough to mask the language.

A contract is not required when you sign up for Mixhits Radio. Simply purchase the iStream Mini Media Player and pick either quarterly or annual billing for the monthly service fee.
